I bind myself today,
The power of God to hold and lead.
His eye to watch, his might to stay,
His ear to hearken to my need.
The wisdom of my God to teach,
His hand to guide, his shield to ward,
The word of God to give me speech,
His heavenly host to be my guard.
Christ be with me, Christ within me.
Christ behind me, Christ before me.
Christ beside me, Christ to win me.
Christ beneath me, Christ above me.
Christ in quiet, Christ in danger.
Christ in hearts of all that love me.
Christ in mouth of friend and stranger.
PRO-LIFE CAMPAIGN – Adamstown Area
Join the campaign to retain the 8th Amendment in Adamstown and protect the right to life of the unborn child. The Pro-Life Campaign needs volunteers to canvas door-to-door and help change hearts and minds in your area. We have just 70 days to go! This is the most vital moment for the Irish pro-life movement in a generation – perhaps ever – because we know that if we lose the 8th Amendment we will never get it back. Have your voice heard, support mother and child and save lives. Meeting and canvassing every week. Contact Eoghan on 086 8518789 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. Benjamin Franklin: Poor Richard’s Almanac
For the want of a nail the shoe was lost,
For the want of a shoe the horse was lost,
For the want of a horse the rider was lost,
For the want of a rider the battle was lost,
For the want of a battle the kingdom was lost.
And all for the want of a horseshoe-nail.
