The Annual Patron and Blessing of Graves in St. Abban’s Cemetery will take place on Sunday next 1st September.
The Patron Mass will be celebrated in St. Abban’s Church at 1.30pm. Remembering and praying for all our nearest and dearest relatives and friends is a very noble and Christian act of charity. We owe everything we have today to all who have gone to their eternal reward before us. May they all enjoy the peace and happiness of Heaven, and may this great annual traditional event continue forever. Adamstown parishioners are renowned for the beautiful state of the cemetery throughout the whole year, but particularly at Patron time.
It makes the work of the Cemetery Committee easy and it is much appreciated by us. John Kehoe will leave a trailer for debris in the cemetery this week. Please come early next Sunday, and obey the parking stewards.
Note: only O.A.P’s and Disabled allowed to park in the Cemetery. Please be as generous as possible to the collection for Cemetery upkeep. All members of the Cemetery Committee please attend at 12.30pm.
