BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT IN NEW ROSSA confidential bereavement support service is inviting people to attend its monthly drop-in group. A home-visit service is available upon request. There is a private meeting room for anyone who might wish to meet a volunteer and share their grief. The drop-in service is on the first Thursday of every month in the Parish Pastoral Centre, Robert St, New Ross from 11.00 am to noon. The coins were all welcomed and given fine accommodation. The notes were given far simpler quarters and complained to St. Peter. He replied “I’ve seldom seen any of you around the church” ADAMSTOWN ATHLETIC CLUB NEWSResults from Day 1 of the Mr Oil County Juvenile Even Ages Cross Country, which took place in JF Kennedy Park, New Ross on Sun 6th Oct 2019. Emily English finished in 8th place in the Girls U10 500m race. There was a large field in the Boys U10 race, well done to all our athletes who competed – Aidan O’ Callaghan, Harry Kent, Bobby O’Shea, Seán Moran & Cillian O’Shea. Gráinne English ran a great race to finish4th in the Girls U14 3,000m; with Ross English also finishing 4th in the U14 Boys 3,000m. Well done to Ciara Mooney finishing 11th in the U16 3,500m. Aoibhinn Crean ran a great race to finish 3rd in the Junior Women’s 4,000m. Well done to all our competitors on the day including, Myia Siggins U12 Girls 2,000m. Lily O’Callaghan finished 5th, followed by Pippa Fortune in the U9 Girls 500m. Adamstown had 5 boys competing in the Boys 500m race – Seán Moran 5th; Bobby O’Shea 6th; Harry Kent 8th; Will Fortune 9th & Cillian O’Shea 11th. SYMPATHYOur sincere sympathy to Margaret Nolan and all the family on the death of John Joe Nolan, The Forge House, Whitechurch. John was the founder of a charity, which has helped thousands of street children in the Romanian capital city of Bucharest. Adamstown Parish had collected food and money on several occasions to give to John as he embarked on his many trips to Bucharest. His funeral Mass was celebrated on Wed last in St. Brigid’s Church, Ballykelly with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.May his kind soul rest in peace.
